When people meet for the first time, they usually tell some interesting things about their lives. Therefore, the first part of the project is “Glad to meet you”.
In the this part you are offered to

Hi there!
I'm Anastasia (or just Nastya), i'm 15. I'm from the region of Russia isn’t connected with Russia in the Eastern part of Europe, between Poland and Lithuania, from Kaliningrad region, Kaliningrad. I go to school and study there well. This year I graduated from Music school, i play the cello and the piano. I study English and Italian. I like photographing, swimming, playing tennis and walking. As for music, i like music very much, especially rock. My favorite bands are Muse, Queen, Radiohead, The Killers, Mika. I like watching good films, especially exciting adventure (like Indiana Johns), interesting melodramas and comedies with a deep and good sense of humor. My family and I travel a lot over Europe, because it’s around us. I adore walking in old European beautiful cities, I’m admired by its architecture, neat narrow streets, houses with balconies full of flowers and so on. I'm a girl who wants to make a difference. Really funny jokes, funny situations make me laugh. When i'm bored i usually call my friends, or walk with them, or watch comedies. Living in Alaska is very special and I enjoy it very much. It is very beautiful, me being a photographer I love taking photos of the breathtaking views and unique people. Hi there, my name is Brigitta, but you can call me Marie. I am fourteen years old, and I live in the U.S. The most interesting fact about me is that I just won a violin competition. The most boring fact is that I have to do chores everyday! The most unusual fact about me is that this year I am Miss Alaska National Teenager, this is an unusual competition because if you place in the top five than you get money to help you go to collage. Another word for this competition is a scholarship organization. Well I didn’t place in top five but I won talent, so I got to go to Philadelphia! That was awesome!
What makes me unique is that I am unusually tall, I am five foot eleven inches. Some things that I like are animals, rollerblading, which means that you have boots on your feet and on the bottom of the boots you have four little wheels, and you skate around and play games. Some things that I dislike are big mean dogs, and rats, especially rats! The three words that I think would best describe me are tall, smart, and funny.
One thing that makes me laugh is just being around the people I love such as my friends and family. Usually when I am bored, I go to my computer and write stories, or go outside and play basketball. The animal that I associate myself with is a Giraffe, because I am tall and I can run fast. I would like to communicate with anyone on this forum.
So now that I am done writing, I would like to ask you a couple of questions. I have never been to Kaliningrad, Russia, is it really beautiful there? Have you ever sent a letter to someone outside of Russia? If not, this will be the first time. My last question is what do you like to do when you are bored?

Greetings from Anchorage, Alaska, I am over 4,400 miles away. My name is Joseph. I am interesting, smart, funny, and 14 years old. I live in the united Sates, Alaska to be exact. My favorite thing to do is Nature photography. I enjoy nature photography because you can do it almost anywhere. When I take pictures I head to a trail by are house I take picture of birds, flowers, and other plants. I am also fond of bicycling. I love learning about new counties and trying new foods. I hate most shell fish, snow, and cold weather. When I am bored I usually go on a bike ride with my camera and take pictures. There are many things that make me unique but I will only list three. There are 6 six kids in my family, three boys, three girls. I go to a charter school where I get to pick my teachers. I last but not least I love to cook. Most boys my age think it is a girl thing to do, but it is a life skill that we all need to have, if it was only for girls to do, boys would get really hungry once they leave home. I think there are a lot of things that make me laugh, but off of the top of my head I can’t think of that many. I like most jokes; I like them even more when other people do not get them. Peoples facile expressions make me laugh too. I would associate myself with a mouse. The reason being, a mouse is, quite at some times noisy at others, relatively smart, and interesting. A mouse is considered to be a pest by some people, but others have them for pets. I would like to communicate with a boy or girl that is about the same age as me. If that is not possible I would enjoy corresponding with anyone. My name is Peter W. Knoch and I am 13 years old. (I'll be 14 very soon.) I live in Anchorage, Alaska in the United States of America. I can't wait to get to know you. The most unusual and best thing that happened was when I was 10 years old my parents bought me a Nintendo Game Boy for my birthday. This wouldn't be that amazing to most children but at the time it was the most wonderful thing in the world. At that time my mom was very strict about games and wouldn't let us get any game systems and that was the reason I was so amazed. I learned to read without any assistance when I was 3 years old. I am the middle child in my family. I like technology, computers and books. I dislike tomatoes and extremely hard homework. I am funny, interesting, and intelligent. Funny jokes make me laugh. When I'm bored I like to use my computer. I associate myself with an octopus they are one of the most intelligent creatures on the earth and they adapt to their situation I would like to communicate with someone who has an interest in computers.

Hello my name is Nicholas Bracale, most of my friends call me Nick. I am 14 years old. I live in the United States and have my whole life. I was Born and raised in Anchorage Alaska which is our 49th state. I would like to take the opportunity to say hello to all my fellow forum mates in English class in Lyceum 49. I would like to tell you a little bit about my self. I am having a birthday pretty soon I will be 15. I have 2 sisters and 1 brother. They all have kids I am an uncle of 8 I have seven nieces and one nephew. I have been skiing since I was three years of age. A couple of years ago I stopped skiing and I tried snowboarding and have loved it ever since. I enjoy snowboarding I go almost every weekend in the wintertime. Maybe this year I will try out skiing again. In the summer time I enjoy dirt biking, football, basketball, riding my bike, jumping on the trampoline, tons of fun stuff. A couple years ago my Father invited me to go with him to his Gold mine. It is in a small town named Galena in northern Alaska several hundred miles northwest of Anchorage, possibly closer to Russia than to my own house. I’m am fortunate that I get to go hunting every year. I am a good shot with a rifle; I also get to go camping all the time during the summer when I am not in school. Living in Alaska I get to see animals most people haven’t ever even seen before, such as moose, bear, wolves and bald eagles. A couple of things I do not like are playing soccer, eating cabbage, and reading books. I consider myself funny, friendly, and nice. My friends always make me laugh. I have some really funny friends. When I’m bored I will usually call a friend and go on a walk, ride a bike, watching movies or do something entertaining. I would associate myself as a cat because they’re always annoying, bothering you, and just want to have fun. Salutations! My name is Sherry Romer, and I got the name from my mom, she named me after her best friend who passed away long before I was born. Speaking of which, I was born on December 6,1995 which was 14 years ago. So I will soon turn 15 in 3 months. I have many nicknames owned by my family members. I live in the U.S. and my current location is Alaska! Okay so the most interesting thing in my life I guess is my native culture/nationality. I am a "mixed breed," meaning I am part Yupik, Norweigan, German, Eskimo, and more that I still need to ask about from my dad. The food that we eat is probably a little different to you guys. It's called Native Food and all of it is sooo yummy. Things that make me unique are: I'm left handed, my nationality, my skin and eye color(im light, and I guess my siblings aren't as light as me), I'm a Proud Christian, also a proud native, I have my learner's permit at 14, homeschooling, live a good obedient life, and I was told that I'm pure, and Godly meaning I fear God.
Things that I like are: driving, reading fiction novels, hanging outside, spending time with my family, taking pictures, going to church, praying and reading my Bible, annoying my little brother, taking rides, learning more about my culture, telling people how to do things anything!, cheese pizza, broccoli, swimming up to 5 feet, my parakeet, math, and singing. I dislike many things like: the devil, when parents say they're kid(s) is an accident, when people are angry, Lima beans, lies, gossip, disobedience, dirt/filth, fake people, annoying loud rap that makes the base louder and more annoying in the car, hummers, school, fire, and mannequins. I Am Quiet, Shy, and Funny. What makes me laugh are funny faces, scaring people, and just happy funny things like when other people laugh, accidentally saying words that were way opposite of what you were gonna say, my brothers/cousins/family, and when someone tickles me of course (I am very ticklish!). When I am bored I just sit there and be bored, try to find something to do and if I can't find anything then I whine.
I would associate myself with a parakeet because they're scared of people taking them, they like to sing/talk, they can be quiet, they protect themselves, and they fly to see the world around them. I would like to communicate with whoever wants to communicate with me, specifically someone who is alike. I am quite tall with short dark brown hair. I also have glasses and without them I would probably be legally blind. My family is sort of big. I have 3 brothers and one sister. I don’t have a lot of animals, just 3 dogs, 2 cats, and a hamster

My name is Zoe Kathryn Ross, but some people call me Zo. I am a 15 year old girl and I live in Anchorage, Alaska, in the USA.
The most fascinating thing about my life is that I have been exposed to dog training all of my life. Another thing that’s fascinating about me is that I love to do anything artistic. The things that make me unique are my happy go lucky personality and (as my Dad says) my big heart.
I like dogs and have 6 of them living with me. The dog breeds that I have are 2 Golden Retrievers, 2 Norwich terriers, 1 Newfoundland and 1 Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever. The things that I don’t like are animal cruelty, rude people and boring clothes.
The 3 words that I would say best describe me are wacky, fun and happy. The things that make me laugh are funny pictures or videos of animals, my parents, my dogs and my friends. When I am bored I love to listen to my music and sometimes draw retro art. The animal that I associate myself with is a chipmunk because they’re curious and funny.

Hello! I am Marie, I am fourteen years old. I live in Alaska, in the city of Anchorage. We might be far from the continental U.S. but we are still part of the United States of America. I have a dog named Cooper, he is a chocolate Labrador Retriever. I also have four brothers; they are all older than me. I play two instruments, violin and piano. My family was one of the unfortunate families, but only in one way, my dad has thyroid cancer. That brings me down a lot, but he is doing really well, and I know that he will get better.
About a month ago I started diving with my best friend. Twice a week we go to a high school that has a pool and diving boards, and we dive for one and a half hours. Soccer is my other sport that I love to play all year round. When I am older I want to be a movie director, and star in some movies. My friends and I like to make short films; I record, act, and put them together on my computer. We do a lot of crazy things for ideas.
I can make friends with just about anyone I meet, and I am very outgoing. I don’t like it when people fight. That is the worst for me. It annoys me when people can’t drive and talk on their cell phones while driving. I am outgoing, sensitive, and I have a good sense of humor. My friends are probably the reason why I laugh as much as I do. When I’m bored I like to draw anime. Anime is basically a Japanese cartoon of people. I also go outside, watch movies with my family, and I love walking my dog.
I think I would compare myself to a squirrel, because they are really energetic, clever, and they are friendly (to other squirrels). It would be cool to talk to other girls my age and that are kind of have the same personality as I do, or anyone who wants to write with me.
Do you guys like to do similar things that I like to do? Have you ever traveled to Alaska, or the United States?

I am Ana-Maria. I am 15 years old and I live in Europe, Romania. One of the most important things about me is that I love pets, especially dogs. I have 3 of them, but they don't actually have a name. I saved 2 of them from death and the third one became my friend seven years ago. I also have some cats, but they are wild and I can't touch them, so they are only fed by us.
I love English and German (I am going to learn German) and I like watching The Annoying Orange on Youtube when I am bored. It always makes me laugh. I don't have a lot of friends because a friend means a lot to me, so I call somebody a ”friend” only when I trust him/her and I feel he/she is a special person. I like spending time with friends because they are funny and everything looks bright when they are next to me.
I love outdoors activities, like walking, visiting and traveling. I am not good at sports, but I like watching them. It makes me happy when I go out with my family (maybe because this is very rare, my parents are too busy). I have an elder brother and I miss his tickling and joking because now he is busy too and he doesn't have any free time for me.
I am Friendly, Loyal and Confident. I compare myself to a dog or a feline because, as I said, I am loyal and friendly and I always smile. I know how to protect myself and I consider myself trustworthy. I have never traveled to U.S. although I would like to.

My name is Maria Vavilova. My friends usually call me Masha.I live in a city named Kaliningrad, which is situated at the Baltic Sea. I am 15 years old.
I go in for gymnastics. I like this kind of sport, because it is very beautiful to watch. In this sport I have some great results and I am successful. I am training for being a master of sports. It makes me unique.
I like listening to music. My favourite music is RnB. I like to watch films, too. Most of all I like comedes and horror films, because I survive many different feelings.
I have not got boring things in my life. I don`t like a dull weather. I don`t like rude and agressive people, and when they laugh at me.
I`m smiling, sociable and reliable. Comedies, comedy programmes and jokes make me laugh. When I am bored, I calll to my friends, go for a walk with them or I go to the gym and do some exersises.

Hello, everyone!
My name is Kat (short for Ekaterina). I live in Kaliningrad, Russia. I'm not going to tell everything about me, but the most interest I'll definitely write down.
I was born in Kaliningrad and when I was little, my family moved to a state called New Jersey in the U.S. My dad worked there. Then, my sister was born there. Soon, we moved to Delaware, where I grew up, made lots of friends, and had a very happy childhood :). We visited Russia almost every summer and stayed at my grandparents in Pereslavl and in Kaliningrad. When I was 10, my mom, sister and I moved to Kaliningrad. I was quite nervous going to a Russian school, considering the fact that it's very different from American schools in many ways. I had problems with all my classes. In the very beginning of the next school year (I was 11 by then), I left for the U.S. to live with my dad. So for 6th grade I lived in the U.S. Sometime in March I decided to return to Kaliningrad for reasons that I won't tell and so in June of that school year was my last flight from America to Russia. I left my childhood memories, best friends, old memorable places behind. Since then, i have been living here. i still email my friends and send letters sometimes. By the way, here's a few things about me: I have a dog named Biscuit, I love to dance, to draw, to go to the beach or lake or pool. I also like spending time with my crazy friends. I like to watch Shane Dawson on Youtube.

My life is quiet, but every day I try to learn something interesting, unusual, which can shock, amaze me. And when I find such things as an amazing singer whose voice and songs I listen to all the time, a wonderful film, they change my outlook. When I get new knowledge, my mood rises up to the boiling-point. In these moments my life becomes extraordinary. I study English, French, and I'm going to learn Hebrew. I like watching films about social problems, also psychological aspects. I adore French and Israel music. And my main hobby is hand-crafting. I adore to create things using polymer clay. I’m sensible, this makes me unique too, and sociable. As for my appearance I’m miniature. I dislike when people tell lies, I can’t stand fish and mushrooms. I like rains and silence. Funny situations and my friends make me laugh. Dreaming and listening to my favourite songs turn off boredom. I associate myself with a whiteboard, because people (and I on my own) can draw on it, then can clean it, and draw again and again, making absolutely different pictures. Dear Zoe, It’s difficult enough to live in a country with 11 time zones. For example, my sister lives in another end of the country, and I have to phone her at night, because where she is it is late morning . And if you travel, it’s very hard to change your body clock and get to used to new conditions.

Hello everybody! I am Olga and I`m fourteen years old. I live in Russia, Kaliningrad city.
And of course I study at school. I find it rather interesting. My favourite subjects are Maths, Informatics and English. Also I like school because I can rub shoulders with my friends and classmates there I have a lot of interests: I like swimming, reading books (prefer fantasy), listening to the music, making some whickies from beads, watching interesting and funny films, spending time with friends and travelling=) I have been in many countries!) This summer I visited Spain and St Petersburg. Also I have visited France, Turkey, German, Holland, Poland and a lot of Russian cities
Also I am interesting in computer programs. Recently I began to attend courses about programming and it`s very fascinating for me. I like kids and animals very much. I am happy when I help or take care of them My favourite animal is a dog. I think that dogs are very cute, clever and devoted! I haven`t had my own dog, but I have got a cavy at my home!) My name is Natasha. But my relatives call me Nata.:) I’m 15 years old and I live in a wonderful city – Kaliningrad. To tell the truth, I moved to Kaliningrad this summer. Previously, I lived in the Arkhangelsk region in a tiny town Solvychegodsk (It’s only 10 square kilometers in area.) I knew everybody in this town and everybody knew me. But now I’m in Kaliningrad and I have already visited a lot of sights here. It’s a really beautiful city. I like traveling, playing guitar, reading books and I like to give people presents. I’m happy when others happy:)::):):)))))))))
Also I love swimming, skiing and snowboarding. I adore animals, especially big and shaggy dogs. I can not say that I don’t like some food or I don’t like some kind of animals. The only thing that might upset me – it’s behavior of people. I cannot bear false and envious people. I hate those who hurt the weak. :(:(:(But a lot of things can make me laugh: joke, funny situation, comedy… I associate myself with a sunflower. It’s very sunny and bright plant. Whats it like living in Russia?
Hi, Keanna! ^^ From the one hand, there's no anything unusuall to live in Russia. U get used even to the most special things in city, where you live. :) But from another hand... Our country is the largest country in the world as u know. So, we have an opportunity constantly visit different beautiful cities of Russia such as Saint Petersburg, Moscow and etc. And it's very exciting!

Hi, there! My name is Victoria, but you can call me Vika or Victosha. It is pleasure for me to meet new people from all over the world! And now I would like to write something about my life and answer your questions!
As I said I am Vika. I am 15 years old and I am an only child in my family. My family is rather big. I have mother, uncle, granny and grandfather. I love them very much! I haven’t any pets. Many years ago I had a cat, his name was Basya. Then I had two small hamsters. In the future I’d like to have a cat or a big dog, like Caucasian Shepherd or Huskies.
About food. My favorite dishes are pasta, salad called «Olivie» (salad with sausage, peas, cucumbers, eggs, potatoes and carrots) and chocolate ice cream! These meals I can eat every day!
What makes me laugh? My friends! I have many friends, but the most important for me only 6. I like go for a walk with them, visit cinema and do everything! Sometimes I am very bored, but I can call to my friends and they always make me happy!
I associate myself with a cat or maybe lion. Sometimes I’m a ram! Nobody can convince me!
My hobbies. I like two things: read and write. I have my own big library! There are many interesting books in it. I like romantic stories, fantasy, adventure books. Also I’m a writer. I write poems and fanfics. (Fan fiction (alternately referred to as fanfiction, fanfic, FF, or fic) is a broadly-defined term for fan labor regarding stories about characters (or simply fictional characters) or settings written by fans of the original work, rather than by the original creator.) The last is more interesting and amazing than anything else, I think. It is enough about me now, and some answers for you.

I think that every person is unique.I can do several things at one time, maybe it is the thing that makes me unique.
I like listening various kinds of music, watching interesting films, reading different books and walking with my friends..I dislike to do boring things like going with my parents to our garden..))

Hello people from Russia.
My name is Nathan Musgrave and I live in Indian, close to Anchorage, Alaska .
I just want to share some things that I like to do throughout the year. In the summer I like mountain bike racing as well as halibut fishing and salmon fishing. I also love to go on long and extreme backpacking trips over glaciers and snow fields in the mountains. In the autumn season I go on hunting trips which can be a great experience . In the winter I go to school and go on winter campouts once a month with my boy scout troop and I will also hopefully teach skiing at the ski resort. So in all, I go all over Alaska and do all kinds of things.
My name is Yaroslav. I am 14. I live in Kaliningrad, Russia. I am going to tell you some information about myself. First of all I will tell you about my hobbies. In fact I am fond of many different hobbies. But the most interesting hobby for me is collecting coins. I began collecting four years ago and now my collection includes about 400 coins from 100 countries. My second hobby is creating models of ships, but I started doing it not so long ago. Also I like playing different sport games, such as football, volleyball and badminton. There is a unique entertainment, which is not very popular here, in Russia. It is body boarding, the type of surfing. As you know, Kaliningrad is situated near the Baltic Sea. So I have an opportunity to come to the beach, play sport games with my friends and parents and swim on my board. At home I like watching science fiction films, comedies and action movies. Good comedy or humorous broadcast can make me laugh. I dislike horror films, dramas, soap operas. I think, I have good sense of humor and I am talkative and friendly person. Hello, friends!) I am Ann. But my friends call me Annyshka. I' m 14. My native town is Kaliningrad, setlement Kosma. I like this place in the globe. Here are a lot of green areas.My place of living is about 15 000 people. Among them- many children. I adore drawing especialy graphic. I like winter activites: skiing, snowboarding and ice skating. Almost every winter season my family and of course me travel to ski resort. My family is quite big: mother, father and two my lovely small sisters. During last four years I stadied only german, now for me is rather hard to remember english (my parents help me to write this latter). I'm happy to participate in the forum activity and communicate with english speakers. What can I do when I'm bored? I meet with my freinds, go for a walk and listen music (Red ink, Placebo). Hello everybody!) My name is Anya. I live in Kaliningrad, Russia. I am 15 years old. I have a black cat. His name is Barsik. I love him very much! I love listening to the music, swimming, reading books (mostly fantasy), watching cartoons! and of course spending time with friends! Also I try to play the guitar and synthesizer. I have been in many countries. The most interesting thing is that we travel by car. I have visited Poland, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Lithuania, Austria, Greece, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Belgium, Monaco. Also, I enjoy collecting soft toys. Everyone who knows about my hobby fill up my collection. Sometimes we travel around the factories, because my mom has a network of shoe stores. I know how to make shoes and even I help my mother to choose the model. Sometimes it's boring ... I associate myself with kitten. "Good and fluffy, but sometimes releasing claws". I'm a little closed in myself, but for friends I'm kind, sympathetic and "sunny"=)

I haven`t got any pet,so my life is very boring.I love all the animals (with the exception poodles and spiders). Hello everybody. My name is Alessandro Sasso and I come from Italy. I live in a city called Bari, situated in south-eastern Italy, near Rome. It's a city on the Adriatic sea, in front of Greece, that was built by pre-Roman populations. As all Italian little cities, I suggest you should visit it, also for the beaches that are in all its region. :-) And for our food, too... ;) I'm 15, I attend lessons at the Scientific Lyceum ''Enrico fermi'' in Bari and... what can I say about myself? I like playing the guitar, reading, writing, listening to the music, doing athletics, going to the cinema, going canoeing, travelling, eating... :-) I am lively, stubborn and sometimes -and I don't know if it is a defect or a quality of mine- I tend to be a dreamer.
I think that the most interesting thing about me is my passion for writing. I started when I was a child, and never stopped; I have always read books of any type, and... when I was younger, since I coudn't afford to buy always new books, one day I started to write mine XD. I have written only some short stories...but I'm hopeful. However, my favourite books are the saga ''A song of Ice and Fire'' (by George R R Martin), ''The Fondation's saga'' (by Isac Asimov), ''Harry Potter'' (by J K Rowling), ''Eragon'' (by Christopher Paolini), ''1984'' (by George Orwell), The Malazan books of the Fallen (by Steven Erikson) etc. My favourite singers are Linkin Park, Nickelback, Muse, Nightwish, Timbaland, Giovanni Allevi, Francesco Guccini, Radiodervish, One Republic etc... I also like classical music (I have learnt to play it at the guitar).
